Second chances
An absolutely beautifully written book about second chances.
Ace and Charlie-Anne grew up with each other. One night changes things.
Fast forward 10 years and they see each other again.
This is the first book I've read by this author and I was impressed! Very much looking forward to reading more.

Oh wow. I could not put this book down. It will hit you right in the feels, but it is so much more than that. Great characters and story, it is emotional and endearing, and I could not get enough of it. This is a great second-chance romance that should not be missed. Well-written the story is told in a way that will draw you in and having you flipping page after page because you don't want to miss a thing. It's a must read. 5 stars!

Such a sweet second chance romance that makes you fall in love, swoon, and route for the good guys. Ace and Charlie have known each other practically their whole lives, he was her sister’s high school boyfriend and her crush, but age and time was never on their side. Charlie’s sister had other plans and Ace wasn’t part of them so they separated decent enough and years later Charlie and Ace get their moment. What Charlie thinks is their one chance to just be Ace tries to fight it but the attraction has always simmered and is now out of control. Ace found his fame creating music and his one night with Charlie was special that he still carries it with him and always wanted more of, but time was never on their side, until fate intervenes. Charlie kept a secret from Ace for years and now it must come to the light. How will Ace handle things? Will Charlie allow him back into her life? With Ace being famous can they rekindle the love they shared or will that fame destroy them? I loved Ace so much and was wanting these two to find their happy, but there are others out there wanting to see them fail. Will this be their time at a second chance and can Ace prove he never let her go? Sweet, perfect, swoon worthy this has it all!!! (If your like me there are a few characters you wanna smack around but that just shows us how amazing the writing draws you in)

I love me a second-chance story, but I kind of get irritated at the stories with the near-misses and the "I didn't have a down day in 10 years to call you, even though I couldn't stop thinking about you" excuses. I get the fame. I get being wanted by random women. I get Charlie's reasonings for not getting in contact with Ace after multiple tries, but Ace's excuses weren't that great. However, I loved their meeting on the plane. I loved how he made sure to not let Chalie get away. I loved that he stepped up when it came to Charlie and to Haleigh. I loved that pretty quickly he took responsibility and did what he had to - to make things right. It also doesn't hurt that he's a country musician. I love those!

I absolutely love second chance romance. Unrequited love only to find it wasn't so one sided. Ace is every girl's dream. Him being a country star made it all the more swoony. Charlie Anne is a strong, single mother determined to protect her daughter at all costs. Love had other plans. The journey back to each other had a few bumps, but in the end love prevailed. This was a very enjoyable read with a HEA that makes your heart melt. It's a story of redemption, determination, and strength. It showed how love is so powerful that it transcends time. This was different from other books I've read from Savannah and I can see this as a series for Goose Creek. Overall an amazing feel good story.

My new favorite book! I wish it could go on forever. Charlie and Ace make the perfect couple. They have history with each other and now that they are a little older they deserve each other. Ace just stole my heart. He has made it his mission to take back him first true love and it made my heart happy. Charlie has made her life and has struggled to get where she is and is wondering how Ace fits in to all of it. Will Charlie give in to Ace’s charming ways? Best book ever!!! Loved every word!!!

Love & Lyrics is the first book by Savannah Maris that I have read and I enjoyed her characters and the well written storyline. It is a sweet second chance romance that kept me engaged from the beginning until the end.

After ten years apart, fate has decided that is long enough and has thrown Charlie in the path of Hayes “Ace” Ford, the one who owns her heart but he is also the one that left her alone and with a baby years ago.
It was and enjoyable ride watching Ace try to win back not only Charlie’s heart but he had to earn the trust and love of a daughter he never knew.

I'm still feeling this book a day after I finished reading it. Ace and Charlie, talk about being at the right time and place after ten years. Talk about missing what could have been after trying three times, I would have given up too. Loved all the scenarios, guarding home plate, being faster, the never-ending elements and their depth, the science fair project! Ace is the total package and I loved them both. Finally a Cinderella happily ever after.

Love and Lyrics was a sweet second chance read. Ace and Charlie-Anne have known each other for years and after a steamy night together, they don't see or speak to each other in 10 years. I loved Ace, he was so swoony and pretty great. Charlie-Anne was such a great woman and mom to sweet Haleigh! The chemistry and connection Ace and Charlie-Anne had was off the charts! Loved them together and their little family!

Another great read from savannah . This story made me want to keep reading without putting it down! I love how she makes me feel like I'm in the moment of the story. I won't give away the book because I believe you need to read it yourself, but believe me this is one for your bookshelves. The characters come to life. You can feel their emotions in every word.

4.5 Stars, but only for lack of drama.
This is a second chance romance with a secret child involved. Of course, she did try to contact him THREE times informing him of becoming a father. Three! She was much nicer towards him then I would have been towards him!
Charlie has single motherhood down and doesn’t need Ace’s help. Nope. In fact, she would prefer him to just stay out of their lives. Too bad he isn’t accepting that. A chance meeting has him forcing her hand into staying at his home so they can talk. Poor woman never stood a chance from Ace’s charm!

I loved Charlie and Ace's story. It was entertaining. It had a great story line full of passion and the promise of a second chance for both of them. I loved that they were both strong independent characters. Their arguments were passionate just like their chemistry. I enjoyed this a lot.

Man! What a story. An emotional second-chance story and will have you turning the pages and hold you captive. A well-written journey to love with multi-dimensional characters that will leave you wanting more (in a great way). I felt the emotions as I ate up the pages. A definite 5 star read that is a must one-click.

Their story is like music to my ears. This second chance romance will pull you in from the start and strum at your heartstrings the whole way through. This book had me crying happy tears! It’s definitely one of my favorite books now. I was hooked from the beginning, and I couldn’t put the book down!
Ace and Charlie have known each other for a long time but haven’t seen/spoken to each other in 10 years. They’ve always had feelings for each other but have never dated. They randomly bump into each other and start catching up. Their feelings for each other are still there, but they have been through a lot in the past ten years. Ace tries his best to make up for lost time.

Nothing like getting ready to start the summer with a second change romance!! Ace and Charlie Anne are your Romeo and Juliette kinda couple...if Juliette was the younger sister and he was told by the older sister to keep away from her. But as fate would have it things sometimes dont work out like they are suppose to. Fast forward 10 years and the star crossed loves reunite. And then the fun really gets started.

This book will have you begging for more!! When i finished reading it, I was like okay I want more!!
Charlie and Ace have had a bumpy road to figure out life whether it be together or apart. But one thing is for sure love doesn’t die out when there is distance and time between you.
You will be right along for the ride with these two and won’t even realize that the story has ended on you. I kept trying to flip the digital page and there was no more.

This is my first time reading a book by this author. This book was a good story with Ace and Charlie. I didn't care for his name. I hated the fact that after she slept with Ace the one time, she never had sex.again ever in the next 10 years. I wanted to stop reading after that major eye roll. I hate when authors think that women should be celibate and wait around pining after men. Ugh. Another reason I didn't care for this story. Charlie constantly crying. Nope. I made myself finish the book. It could've been a great story. I thought the story should have began with their beginning and and how they ended up sleeping together. Then jump to them meeting up at the airport.
