I freaking loved Fitzhenry and Byron/Lang together!
I kid you not when I say I have been waiting YEARS for Fitzhenry Everhart to get his HEA, I read the last of his brothers stories in 2018, that's how long I have been waiting....I'd say patiently but at times I wasn't so patient. Would I say this book was worth the wait? Absolutely! Why you may ask, it's because we had to wait for Byron Langdon to be ready for him and since there is a fourteen year age difference it only made sense to wait until Lang was 31 and Fitzhenry was 45...where the age difference wouldn't make much of a difference.
I will let you know that I did in fact need tissues once again with this series because of the events that happened on 9/11 which affected each of the brothers differently, now we know just how it impacted Fitz. But Fitz isn't the only one with issues from his past, Lang has deep seeded family issues that we finally get to the bottom of. Family doesn't have to be made of DNA, it's people whom you can love and respect and they treat you the same way without any conditions on it that can make a family.
This story had a lot of suspense to it without giving anything away, someone comes to Fitz's office and want's to hire him as his lawyer but there is something that throws up Fitz's radar so he calls his brother Harrison to do some digging and that's where Lang comes in. Lang is brought into Fitz's firm as a junior partner and his fake boyfriend so that his around to protect him 24/7 and believe me when I say he needs it.
If you enjoy MM Romantic Suspense Reads with some steam, Opposites Attract, Fake Relationships, Forced Proximity, or Age Gap Romances I highly recommend this book to you.

Being assigned to fake date Fitz Everhart is just another mission for Byron, who works for a secret intelligence agency. He didn't expect to start feeling as more than fake anything for the man who is his opposite. But as their mission to take down Fitz's client rolls along, the two will have to decide if they can leave behind their baggage and be happy together.
I loved this age gap, fake relationship story! Fitz the witty, light-hearted of the pair, hiding his own pain, while Byron is stoic and serious and definitely has more than his share of damage he holds behind the walls he's erected to keep others at a distance. There's forced proximity, suspense, and two men who have to fight to find their happiness. I've heard this is the last of this series, and I'm going to miss it.

I have been waiting my whole life for Fitz Everhart! I have wanted his love story because if any character deserves one it’s Fitz! He is the man who take care of his family, fights the bad guys with his excellent lawyer skills and gets the job done better than anyone else!
I knew Fitz Everhart needed someone who could take on his beast of a side! He’s a scarred man who Carries his baggage like a badge of honor! He stubborn and very insufferable when he wants to be! Soooo Lang, well Lang is just what Fitz needs because he will not bend!! I have been a little suspicious of Lang but he was the perfect match for the last single Everhart brother! He just as stubborn and strong enough to help ease Fitz’s load!
This story was a melting pot of all my fave characters and was the crossover of families I didn’t know I needed!!

My heart is filled with SO much love and joy after reading Forever With Me (Everhart Brothers #4). It’s definitely well worth the wait and it exceeded my expectations in the best way possible.
No doubt about it, Fitz Everhart is my favorite Everhart brother. He’s a diva, plain and simple but in a hilarious, quick witted, on point way like everyone needs a person like this in their life. And this is why he’s absolutely everything to me. I instantly fell in love with him from the moment Claudia Burgoa introduced him in Fall For Me (Everhart Brothers #1) and I dare say, he’s one of the best character’s that Claudia Burgoa has ever written. Fitz is an accomplished and highly sought after attorney with a confident and slightly arrogant personality. Yet he’s the most kindest, caring and tender hearted man who has the Everhart trait of being selfless and having a deep love and devotion for his family. He’s been sitting on the sidelines for years watching his brothers fall in love, getting married and growing their families. After years of being unlucky with love, he’s overdue and he’s convinced himself that finding the love of his life will never happen. It would take one heck of a man to not only deal with Fitz but to fully capture his heart. This man has to be up to par with his diva standards. When I found out that the one and only Byron Langdon was going undercover as Fitz’s “boyfriend” to help with a mission, my jaw dropped and I was beyond thrilled. I was so ready for this challenge!
Byron Langdon is a complex man who’s built a impenetrable wall around himself and his heart. He’s made appearances in the Baker’s Creek series and Luna Harbor series as a manager and agent. He’s also an attorney and a member of the infamous The Organization, a secret intelligence agency. Ms. Burgoa has dropped hints and tidbits about Bryon within the prior books however, in Forever With Me we learn so much more about him and she gives him a lot depth. She does a fantastic and amazing job with his character development, a lot of things were brought to the forefront and she brings out the best in him. Byron needed to find the right man for him and for that man to give him the love and support that he most definitely deserves.
Fitz and Byron are jaded when it comes to love and relationships but they come together despite that as they are utterly irresistible to each other. Their hilarious and snarky tit for tat banter is downright hilarious and they give as much as each other gets. They are more alike than they realize with not only their witty humor and comebacks but also because they are very much dedicated to their families and are willing to sacrifice themselves for them. Trust me when I say, they are absolutely 100% PERFECT for each other and they are meant to be together from the beginning. Their story is quite entertaining, engaging and flows naturally and effortlessly.
Forever With Me is one of my top favorite books of 2022 and Fitz and Byron’s love story is incredibly beautiful. Fitz Everhart will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart and now so will Byron Langdon.

This is by far one of the best books I have read this year. I went in completely blind since I hadn't read the others in this series, but let me tell you, I was not disappointed or lost at anytime. this book was AMAZING. I cannot stress that enough.

Oh, we finally get to follow Fitzhenry's story!!! YES!!!! Why is Winsston texting him? Where is he and what are the texts about? Oh, Byron… What tragic meeting is he having to sit through? What job does Byron get tasked to do and why? Oh, my gosh, it felt like I had just started the book and I found myself already 20 chapters into the story!! Wow, the word slinging between Fitz and Byron made the tension that I felt between them 'hot'. I laughed a lot reading this. I also gasped as things got heated between Fitz and Byron. What happens that causes paranoia in a man named Maes? Read and see what happens!!! Oh goodness, I thoroughly enjoyed the suspense of this story! Enjoy the read!

I’ve been waiting for this book! And my goodness, Claudia Burgoa has blown me away. I’ve been waiting for Lang and Fitz’s story, two of the most enjoyable characters I’ve met in previous books. The anticipation was killing me but the wait was worth it. Their story was everything I could hope it to be and then some. Their chemistry was off the charts and held my attention from the opening pages down to the final words. The road to the hea was worth the bumpy ride. I adore everything about this book, this couple. Forever With Me can take all my stars.

Fitz and Lang! 💜 We’ve been waiting a long time for Fitz’s story and the author found the perfect partner for him. They’re opposites in so many ways but fit together so well. I loved their snarky chemistry, their heartfelt tenderness, and their HEA. This book was definitely worth the wait!
"So, I'm dating? My job for the unforeseeable future is to date an old man. Joy."
Fitzhenry Everhart and Byron Langdon were an unlikely pairing but they complemented each other perfectly. One was lighthearted, enjoyed his heart-on-his-sleeve escapades, and loved to joke around. The other was all business, high walls, and sarcasm. Who knew that the one who was willing to take a chance on love was the serious one?
"I hate the way my heart beats. The noise in my head suddenly becomes a note, then two, and finally, there's a rhythm. And I want to touch him in ways I would never dream."
MM romance is not my usual staple but I trust this author 100% to deliver a story that's sexy, tender and fun. And, that's exactly what she did. I loved the banter between Fitz and Lang, as well as the banter between their individual family/friendship circles. I loved the changing dynamic between the two guys, as they began to open up to one another. This author always delivers strong heroes who also have a core of vulnerability, and both Fitz and Lang had their fair share of hurts that they covered up beneath their polished exteriors.
This was a fabulous conclusion to the Everhart series. I have major heart-eyes over these two!

This is book four and the final book in The Everhart Brother's series and it is Fitz and Lang's story and omg it is definitely a must read. I have been waiting patiently for Fitz's story and I definitely wasn't disappointed in fact I absolutely loved it. Fitz is a highly sought after attorney but he knows his own mind and doesn't suffer fools gladly and as well as being kind, considerate, caring, stubborn Fitz absolutely loved his family but he hasn't been very lucky in the love department and feels like it is too late and he has lost his chance to find that someone special but what Fitz doesn't realise is that his life is about to change but will it be in a good or bad way. Lang has not had much luck in the love department and as a attorney and a member of the organisation which is a secret agency where they go on mission's Pang has his walls built so high around him that it would take someone really special to break through and see the man hiding inside. When Fitz and Lang to on a mission together as boyfriend's I was really excited and there backwards and forwards banter had me laughing so much and they are so perfect for each other and together with chemistry that is so strong, hot and intense that you could feel it sizzling of the pages and I couldn't put this book down and had to keep turning the pages to see what would happen next and what the outcome would be for them and it was so addictive that it kept you on the edge of your seat and what an amazing ending to this series. Claudia Burgoa is an amazing author and writer and she certainly knows how to keep her reader's attention and the depth of her story's are what makes you go back time and time again to read her book's and you will not be disappointed.

I wanted to love this book so much more than I did, but honestly, I just couldn't.
A big portion of that was that I didn't feel connected to either of the main characters. They were amusing and they had a good enemies to lovers dynamic, but there was just something that kept me from really connecting to them. Without connecting to them, I had a hard time rooting for their relationship. Without being able to root for their relationship, I found myself having a hard time really caring.
A lot of that, I think, had to do with the pacing of the book. There would be large time skips in the book that affected a lot of seeing the way they moved from enemies to lovers and the way they started to bond. I think I would've enjoyed the book more if we wouldn't have had weeks and months just glossed over with a sentence telling us how much closer they'd become.
The mystery part of the book was good though and I was very intrigued by The Organization.

Forever with Me is a combination of some of my favorites in romance. We get a male/male, opposites attract, age-gap, fake dating romance plus some danger and intrigue, and a bit of steamy fun all wrapped up in the totally lovable couple that is Fitz and Lang. These guys tug at all the heartstrings with their backstories - and that's where Claudia Burgoa's gift for well-timed wit comes in because the banter between these two is terrific. Every time they'd verbally spar, I could almost feel the electricity crackling back and forth. The push and pull is just that good. We also get to catch up with some past favorites, which is always nice, especially with so many favorites from this author. Now, I can add two more to that list with Fitz and Lang. So, if you're like me and enjoy some sarcasm and snark with your chemistry and feels, you don't want to miss Forever with Me!

Forever with Me is the 4th book in the Everhart Brothers series by author Claudia Burgoa. We finally get Fitzhenry Everhart's story!! He's a phenomenal lawyer, he's the one you call in a crisis, takes care of the family and no one can seem to get things done right like he can. Lang is an covert operative who is assigned to work at Everhart & Everhart, LLP. Lang ends up in a fake office romance with Fitz while allowing Lang to do his dangerous spy games. Feelings develop on both sides which they are looking for this dangerous client, get caught up in intrigue and suspense, and yes- Passion 🔥🔥. Each Man has their own story to tell and in that story comes BAGGAGE. Do I think their connection is real? Feels are there ? The HEA is good? You will have to read this book to see how everything came together.

I read this book as a standalone, even though it is part of a series. I thought it worked on its own, and the I wasn’t lost with the other characters. I wasn’t sure at first how he two main characters were going to get together. They were both pretty stubborn individuals. Fitzhenry and Byron eventually overcame some things to finally work it out between them.
The beginning of the book was a bit angsty. Then the book was quite exciting later on when a bit of action and intrigue was thrown in. I loved that this solidified their relationship even more. The action showed the courage and fortitude of the characters. It was very interesting.
I’m so glad this was a MM story. It was the reason I read it. The author also has some amazing MF stories, so I was very happy to read a MM story by her. She did a good job with the story and characters.

This is a MM story from Ms.Burgoa and is Fitzhenry (Fitz) Everhart’s story, it is also the final book in the series and in my opinion was a fitting conclusion. Lang is an operative who is assigned to work at Everhart & Everhart, LLP where he becomes involved with Fitz.
These two could not be more different and on paper should not work. However the heart wants who the heart wants and despite his misgivings he finds himself drawn into a relation with Fitz.

Opposites do attract. Fitz and Byron were like night and day but for some reason after everything they were perfect together. Byron was on a mission to protect Fitz and at times he wanted to kill him. Fitz was stuck in his ways he’s used to being the caretaker and protector of everyone. He deserved his HEA and who would have thought it would have been Byron. It took a minute to get into it but at the end I was invested.

I had been anxiously awaiting Fitz's story ever since I first starting reading Claudia Burgoa's books and he kept popping up. This was just what I needed. It has humor, family, friends, and some danger thrown in. I can't believe Lang would be the one for Fitz but as the story progresses, they're perfect!

I am not going to give fluff but be honest and say this one took me a little bit to get into for whatever reason. Once I was connected with the story it really turned out great. Fitz and Byron are the perfect odd couple to me between age difference, personality difference and everything in between. Their story was full of all the angst and had a great build up and then dissecting all the layers of the story became quite the escape. This was a very enjoyable story with so many great secondary characters and truly a great build up and description of the main characters as well.

It feels like I have been waiting forever for Fitz Everhart's book. It was so worth the wait. I loved following along as two beautifully broke men, two of my favorite characters fell in love by accident. I felt that Fitz and Lange we both able to grow and heal in this story. They learned to open themselves up to one another, and risk the pain that might follow. Now that I have read it I wish I could read it for the first time again and again. Perfect love story for both Fitz and Lange.

This was probably more of a 3.5 - 3.75 stars read for me. I have not read the other books for this series or any other that would connect to this one. So going in I had no reference for the writing style. Which means that this is most likely just a me issue.
I liked the idea of Fitz and Lang becoming a couple, being that one person who finally breaks through the other one's shields and made him realize he couldn't live without them. They both deserve to love and be loved by someone meant just for them. I enjoyed reading about them, but feel there should have been more. I feel like this book was light on their actual romantic relationship, on the witnessing of them becoming the other person's everything. And, I can’t even say that it was that way because there was a lot of action happening with the bad guys, because there wasn't. I had really been hoping for some good action, for Lang to show just how capable of a bodyguard he is, but it was overall very tame. Still, I like that they are together and happy.

The more books I read by Claudia Y. Burgoa the more I fall in love with her writing and her characters! I will never get tired of saying that I LOVE the way she connects all his series and conveys all the feelings with each story. And with Fitz & Lang was no exception, I loved reading their love story, knowing a little more about them and the appearances of the characters that made me know and love this author.
I wanted to read Lang SO much and I always thought that his story would be included in the Luna Harbor series, so I was very surprised to learn that his time as a main character had arrived, and I was also very excited. He has always been a very interesting character, his serious, grumpy and professional personality intrigued me from the first time I read him, and there is no denying that he has a huge and beautiful heart, who loves madly the family he chose and is willing to do anything to protect and support them unconditionally. I was also very interested in knowing his personal history, something that broke my heart a lot and helped me understand his character and his actions much more.
On the other hand, this was my first approach to the Everhart Brothers series, so it was the first time I read Fitz and his family dynamics, but he also conquered my heart immediately, and without a doubt I will be reading all the books in this series. Fitz is totally different from Lang: he is a joker, very flirtatious and doesn't take life seriously, but in he is a man who has faced complicated situations too and carries great pain in his heart, he's someone who cares too much about the welfare of his family and who is terrified of losing them.
Fitz & Lang had a plot that made me fall in love, their opposite personalities and Fitz's constant innuendos made them very fun to read, in addition to the fact that their fake relationship + the danger of the situation Fitz was in and Lang's desire to protect him made everything between them unfold perfectly. I loved how these two fit together little by little, they began to confide in each other the most important aspects of their pasts and those situations that broke their hearts. They were really adorable and their story was so worth it.

I absolutely loved Forever with Me by Claudia Burgoa; it is the fourth book in her Everhart Brothers. Forever with Me is the first book in the Everhart Brothers series that I have read and am looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Forever with Me is an age gap, fake dating love story. I was pleased that each book is a standalone and that I did not have to have read the other books in her series to enjoy Forever with Me. I am looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Claudia Burgoa continues to show that she is an amazing storyteller and has once again provided her readers with amazing characters. I love all the characters in Forever with Me, they feel like family! Forever with Me filled me with a rollercoaster of emotions, I could not put it down, and I loved every moment on every page. Who does not love hot sexy men, strong females, loving families, and friends, who always support one another? Forever with Me was the first male to male romance that I have read, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I love all the characters in Forever with Me, they feel like family! Forever with Me filled me with a rollercoaster of emotions, I could not put it down, and I loved every moment on presumes every page. Who does not love hot sexy men, strong females, loving families, and friends, who always support one another? I really enjoy how the book is told from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting the insight and feelings from the different characters. I love the lighter moments where I find myself smiling and laughing out loud. My favorite moments are the ones that pull at my heartstrings that cause me to sigh, as I read the heartbreaking moments. Forever with Me is filled with heartbreaking and heartwarming moments. It is filled with all those things that I have come to love and expect in Claudia Burgoa love story, and she did not disappoint, especially with the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. Forever with Me is the love story between Fitzhenry “Fitz” Everhart and Byron Langdon. Both Fitz and Byron are lawyers for their own firms. The story starts with a meeting between Fitz and a potential client, Andrei Maes, a Belgium businessman at the Everhart & Everhart LLP offices. Something does not feel right to Fitz, he reaches out to his brother, Harrison to do a background check on Maes. Harrison believes that Maes is really Drugi Fontaine, who is presumed dead, a criminal involved in drugs and human trafficking. Harrison convinces Fitz to take Maes on as a client and Byron, who works for The Organization, a secret spy agency, with Harrison, will be Fitz’s bodyguard and his pretend boyfriend. As Fitz and Byron spend time together things change between them. I love when Byron gets real with his true feelings for. I love how they share things that they have never shared before, Fitz shares with Byron how and when his parents died, and Byron tells him about life with his parents and siblings. An unexpected plot twist changes thing between them and almost cost Fitz his life. I love how the plot twist gets resolved. I love the changes that both Fitz and Byron are willing to make in their lives to have a life with one another and how these changes impacted their lives. I also love how the epilogue went above and beyond a happily ever after, and I love how Fitz proposed to Byron. I love the characters and the family dynamic in Forever with Me, the characters feel like family and friends. I enjoyed all the interactions between the Everharts and all the members of The Organization especially their teasing that made me laugh. I also enjoyed how Claudia Burgoa included characters and locations from her other series in Forever with Me. Who does not love family and friends that always have each other’s backs? I thoroughly enjoyed Forever with Me, who does not love an age gap, fake dating love story? Definitely will be reading the other books in the series. Highly recommend this incredible love story.

I was so excited for Fitzhenry Everhart’s story since the first time I met him in book one of the The Everhart Brothers series and it was so worth the wait! This age gap/fake relationship romance is emotionally charged, and completely addicting! We have also recently met the mysterious Byron Langdon, who fronts as a manager for different artists, but is actually a highly trained operative in a secret high intelligence agency. When a foreign potential client wants to hire Fitz to be his lawyer, bells go off for Fitz and he tells his security agent brothers about him. They know this man is a dangerous human trafficker and want to use Fitz to help them build a case and capture him. They bring in Byron to be his bodyguard while pretending to be his live-in lover as a cover. Neither are happy to be in this forced proximity situation. Byron wears a thick armor to keep people at a distance and from his heart. He has let others in before, including his family, and everyone always leaves. He is a puzzle and a challenge that Fitz needs to win over to survive the fear he feels during this mission. Fitz is charming, witty, and seems to make light of life, while hiding the pain from past tragic events that rocked his family. Byron is drawn to his scars and the darkness in his soul. The more time they spend together, the more their age gap falls away and their hearts meld together. They get so lost in each other that they forget the danger they're in and put themselves and others at risk. When the mission is over, and their lives are on different coasts, will they be able to make their love last, or is it even real when the forced dependency is over? I loved the connection between Fitz and Byron! They were opposites yet so much alike with their stubbornness, their loyalty, and desire for love and family. I loved everything about them and their story, like the steamy tension, the banter, the emotional talks, and the sizzling romance which was explosive! It is also so much fun seeing many of the characters that I've grown to care about from other books, make an appearance and continue to be essential in each others lives. I am sorry this series is over but know I will see these characters again! This is the perfect ending to The Everhart Brothers series, but a great continuation to the fun, emotional and steamy stories that Burgoa does so well!

If you're familiar with Claudia Burgoa's writing, you know that there tends to be a slew of crossover characters from quite a few of her series. Funnily enough, instead of having the characters from Everhart Brothers series more present here, it's the ones from Burgoa's Luna Harbor series that tended to be more prevalent, or at least that's how it felt to me. All that being said, when you focus on just Fitz and Lang, there's no denying that these two seemed to be just what the other needed in their lives. Both have walls and have been known to shy away from forming connections with other people, although they definitely have extremely strong bonds with their respective families--Fitz with his brothers and the families they've formed and Lang with the family he's created for himself by way of friends. Having read and loved the first three books in the series and that leading to high expectations, Fitz and Lang's story did fall a wee bit short. Don't get me wrong; Forever with Me was an appealing read, just not at par with its predecessors. Three stars.

I have been waiting for the last Everhart brother's story and I was not disappointed. Fitzhenry finally gets his love story and it's a great one, with humor, adventure, and love. Fitz has a potential client who is very determine to have Fitz represent him. Fitz reaches out to his oldest brother Harrison to check up on the potential client and that's when the story really starts.
The potential client appears to be a bad guy - drug trafficker, human trafficking, etc. The inquiry that Fitz had Harrison do end up with Fitz getting involved with his brother's organization to bring down the bad guy. In order to do that, Bryon is assigned to Fitz undercover as his "lover" and a new associate with Fitz's law firm. The interaction between Fitz and Bryon is funny and full of sarcasm. But Fitz's ability to make people open up finally breaks down the wall that Bryon has put around himself to not anyone in to his life because the person will eventually leave. Or like his childhood, his parents didn't want him.
As the undercover stint continues, they find out what the client is up to and runs the shipments that the client is getting in various ports around the country. Once it gets dangerous, Bryon takes Fitz away from NYC so that the client can't reach Fitz. The "romance" between Fitz and Bryon heats up (finally) when they are in hiding and the two finally open up to each other. Once the client's business has been destroyed, Fitz is free to go back to NYC. Bryon thinks Fitz is leaving him so he puts his walls up again and Fitz has no choice but to leave. However, Fitz gets into danger and Bryon and his team searches for him to rescue him. Bryon is afraid he won't find Fitz or Fitz is hurt because of his carelessness. However Bryon realizes that he truly loves Fitz and wants to be with. He just hopes Fitz feels the same.
