I knew while reading My Favorite Night we were going to have to wait a bit for Cas & Rys' full story but I am sooo glad we didn't have to wait too long for it. I love these two together and I didn't want their story to end. Just an FYI but that book is the first several chapters of this one so if you haven't read it already no worries Claudia has you covered.
Rys is a Veterinarian and works for Layla Aldridge, that name may sound familiar if you've read Defying Our Forever (The Baker’s Creek Billionaire Brothers), she is also currently dating Thad who is a total winner, not, and she goes to Vegas to meet his for a Weekend. What happened next was a total shocker!
Caspian Spearman lost his shot after he let Polaris 'Rys' Holland go after their amazing night together almost three years ago but now that he has her there is no way he's letting her go this time, after all you're supposed to learn from your mistakes, right.
I absolutely loved Rys and Cas together, their chemistry was great and the way they were able to read one another was like they were together for years instead of the short amount of time they were actually together. They just clicked. Claudia did a spectacular job with this story and I cannot wait to see what she has in store for the rest of Caspian's siblings.
I would recommend this book to those that enjoy Steamy New Adult Contemporary Romances, Sports Romances, Billionaire Romances, or Large Family Romances.

My Favorite Mistake is taking us back to the Paradise Billionaire brothers and Claudia is giving is Cas Spearman hockey player extraordinaire and Rys the sweet sometimes shy veterinarian. It is said that what happens in Vegas stays there but this is not the case when your hasty nuptials are all over the place. Let's get everyone caught up to speed how this all may have transpired.
Rys surprised her so called boyfriend in Vegas.
She didn’t kill him when she caught him sleeping with his best friend.
She is drowning her sorrows in the hotel bar when she runs into Cas. They enjoy a few tequila shots for old times' sake. It ends well almost just like the last time, in bed but this time they each wake with a ring on their finger.
The news and well everyone says that Cas is a player, a hot head and quite the jerk but that is not the man that she saw last night. Now that the media has them plastered everywhere they need to do damage control and that leads to this couple staying married. We also get to visit with all of our favorite characters!

It's been three years since I found this talented writer, and in that time I’ve read and posted my opinions on twenty nine of her amazing romances! You'd think with that number of stories at least one would be a dud, but she continues to deliver time and again, with each new one being better than the last.
Of course I adore this Spearman family with their literary names, but I’ve been dying for Caspian's story. I’m always up for a good sports romance, and our boy Caspian was not at all what I anticipated! He's a player on the ice, and only on the ice, and an all-around decent guy with a heart of gold who loves and values his family. But then, put a tiny baby in his arms, and that's all it takes to have all ovarıes within a ten-mile radius exploding.
Rys Holland loves her job as a veterinarian. She prefers four-legged mammals to the human kind because they love unconditionally and not one animal has ever done her wrong. Exhibit A: surprising her boyfriend in Vegas and then needing eye bleach for what she walks in on. But that clichéd saying isn’t necessarily true, and what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas, especially when Rys wakes up to find herself married to the captain of an NHL team. The same man she met three years ago and hasn’t been able to forget, despite dating his rival from another NHL team.
When their not at all real and dare of a wedding goes viral, Rys agrees to stay married to Cas until things can be handled by his team's PR people. In Burgoa's fictional worlds it's one or two degrees of separation, rather than six, and Rys learns that the lives her and her new husband intersect in more ways than she ever realized. Not necessarily a bad thing, especially when the fake begins to feel real.
Oh, my heart, I love these two so much! Rhys is so incredibly relatable, you'll feel like you know her personally. Cas is ridiculously swoony, but it’s not his sports-god status, his team leadership skills, or his abs for days that won me over. It's his big marshmallow heart and his determination to make things real and never let Rys go. Having read and loved the previous books in the Paradise Bay Billionaire Brothers series I was excited to Read My Favorite Mistake which is Caspian (Cas) Spearman and Rys’s story.
We all know that what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, or does it? From the moment they first met, the sparks flew, however after an unforgettable night they parted ways. Meeting up again in Vegas it seems that the chemistry and attraction is just as intense as it was.
Caspian is the captain of the Portland Orcas hockey team and when he and Rys find themselves in the middle of a media circus. After a night of fun, drinking and gambling they end up married, even worse they videoed it and it’s gone viral. Now in order to control the narrative they decide to stay married for the time being.
Teddy Hamilton and CJ Bloom did a wonderful job with their narration, They brought the story that Ms. Burgoa wove to life for me with their performances. Their voices are easy to listen to and did justice to Cas and Rys’s characters.
I know when I pick up a book by Ms. Burgoa that I am in for an entertaining , often emotional, heart warming story and My Favorite Mistake was such a book. I have loved all the Armani books but Caspian may be my favourite.
This was a great addition to the Paradise Bay series.

This is the Spearman sibling that I have been waiting for- Caspian and Polaris aka Cas and Rys. Their one night together in the prequel novella, My Favorite Night, was so perfect that I couldn't wait for more... and then it took 4 more books before Claudia put me out of my misery!
My Favorite Mistake is a second chance, accidental marriage of a hockey hunk and a veterinarian- and the fourth Spearman in the Paradise Bay Billionaires series. I personally feel like Claudia's series need to be read together in order to get the full picture- the families are just so big and intertwined that you might not understand all the references. There are also quite a few crossover characters from some of her other series- but they are more like little easter eggs for Claudia fans than people you are required to know to understand the story.
If you didn't get a chance to read the prequel to Cas and Rys- don't worry- most, if not all, of it is included in the first few chapters of this book.
I absolutely loved Caspian! I enjoyed Rys' character too but Cas really captured my heart- which made giving this book a rating a little trickier. So much of the story I adored. I love the easy connection that these two share. The instant chemistry these two had- and it just lingered in their minds for YEARS. Then with a strange turn of events, Rys is dating Cas' biggest rival before it all blows up and they find themselves accidentally married in Vegas. I understand Rys' reluctance to trust her relationship or status with Caspian based on the way she was raised with her mother deeming all men terrible- but at the same time I was frustrated with how she couldn't see how in love Cas was with her. She was determined to remind herself and him how temporary their arrangement was but all the while Caspian did nothing but show her how much he cared for and adored her. He even flat out told her that he didn't want their marriage to be temporary. Caspian had all the makings to be a playboy but he was really a family oriented, loving and dedicated person. He had me swooning with his thoughtfulness and sweetness at times.
The thing I love about Claudia's books is how they tend to be low angst and the story line just moves along quickly. But then sometimes I'm left feeling like things tied up too quickly or didn't fully resolve. There were a couple strange interactions with the triplets and Rys and a weird situation going on with their mother that kind of left me feeling confused- but I'm assuming that at least the thing with "Helicopter Dawn" will be addressed and resolved during one of the other Paradise Bay books.

What happened in Vegas definitely didn’t stay in Vegas. My Favorite Mistake (Paradise Bay Billionaire Brothers #4) is such a delightful and exciting treat. So far, Gatsby is my favorite Spearman sibling however, Caspian is a strong contender for that spot and rightfully so. I mean he’s such a delicious, charming and sexy hockey player. One of the best things about this series is the fact that each Spearman sibling is unique in their own right, they hold their own and each of their stories keeps getting better and better.
I love surprise wedding and marriage of convenience romances which makes me love Caspian and Rys’ book even more. They were previously introduced in their novella, My Favorite Night where they spent a hot and steamy weekend together. Although it was only for a weekend, it was the perfect tease as their connection was deep, meaningful, unforgettable and it definitely gave me something to look forward too. So here we are, years later and even though Caspian and Rys have reunited in Vegas, they both felt some kind of way towards each other after previous misunderstandings. Now they’ve gotten themselves in a predicament considering they spent a night in Vegas drinking, gambling, having fun, reconnecting and spontaneously getting married in front of Elvis. The BEST part is, they made a video and posted it on social media. I was completely invested and definitely craving for more.
Fortunately, everything that transpired post wedding was quite entertaining which truly made for an excellent story with witty banter, funny and endearing moments and a heartfelt page turner. And Claudia Burgoa definitely brought the heat along with swoon worthy moments between Caspian and Rys. Their chemistry and sex is off the charts HOT and exactly what I needed. I love catching up with the Paradise Billionaire Brothers and this was the book I’m been waiting for because I needed Hockey player Caspian (Cas) Spearman’s Story and all I’m going to say is …..this book was everything I expected and more and My Favourite Mistake is my favourite read in this wonderful series.
Teddy Hamilton and CJ Bloom did a wonderful job bringing this story and the characters to life. They were spot on with all the emotions running through this journey.

What starts off as a fun evening of drinking, dares and gambling finishes with a wedding and a video that has gone viral. In order to control the back lash Cas and Rys decide to stay married for a few months. But as time goes on this couple realise they can’t live without each other but will his fame ruin any chance this couple have of a HEA ….one click to find out.

This is the fourth book in this amazing series, and this is Caspian and Rys’s journey. Caspian is a womanizing captain of the Portland Orcas hockey team, while Rys is a veterinarian who prefer the four-legged variety to the two. When Rys heads to Vegas to surprise her boyfriend, she catches him cheating with his best friend, so she heads to the bar where she crosses paths with Cas, and after a few drinks, what happens in Vegas does not always stay there. According to social media Cas and Rys got married, and he persuades her to stay married to him as he does not want or need negative PR, and Rys agrees as she does not want to deal with her mother. This is a beautifully written story which is fun, entertaining, and with emotions, family, friendships, intrigue, and love, which leads to a poignant page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

I have been waiting for Caspian and Rys' story ever since I read their novella. And I quite enjoyed it. Though I don't really like Caspian's siblings in this one. They were not my favourite part of the story. I get that they're very protective but they just made Rys feel so insecure and afraid to be around them. And Caspian is also weird at times because he shows his real side when they're in private, and I love those moments but would change when they're in public. That becomes an issue later in the story too. I don't quite enjoy the characters in this one very much but I enjoyed their story enough.

I knew after reading the blurb for this book it was going to be my favorite book in the series. This is a one night stand, accidentally married in vegas, second chance romance between a hot hockey player and a veterinarian. Rys and Cas are not only perfect for each other, but their chemistry was explosive and even though they were only together a short time it felt like they had been together longer. I’m not sure how Claudia will top this book in the series, but I can’t wait to see what she has in store for Cas’ siblings.

Caspian and Rys are absolutely couple goals! Even though their pairing is unconventional they become such an amazing couple that you can’t help but fall in love with them!
Rys is heartbroken in the worst way when she crosses paths with Caspian but fate sprinkles some luck and a little bit of laughs to really push these two! A deal is struck but what comes of it, is something bigger than either ever anticipated! Both went from loners who worked life away to finally finding their purpose!

What a sweet book.
Rys and Caspian's story was a great addition to the Paradise Bay Billionaire Brothers series.
Their relationship was endearing and the care they had for each other was delightful.

Great addition to the paradise Bay series. Caspian and Rhys meet at a tasting at his families winery. After the night of their lives they lose touch. A chance meeting brings them back together. Rhys is wary but Caspian knows she is his soul mate and vows to not let her go again. Sweet story of two deserving people finding love!

Cas and Rys own my heart in my favorite story in this series. Cas is a hockey player (swoon) and Rys has a personality so easy to relate to. I love their backstory and how they come together in Vegas creates for a wonderful heart warming story which completely consumed me. Cannot recommend this book enough.

Oh Caspian, where have you been all my life?! This hot hockey player melted my heart, not for his smooth moves on the ice or his outwardly grumpy and private personality, but for his soft and squishy marshmallow center.
When Cas and Rys first meet, I did not expect it to go down like that! I love that I was surprised, because Ms. Burgoa could have gone the predictable route, and didn't. I also loved that these two might not have kept in touch for the three years between meetings, but they've the other in their minds...and hearts...all this time. Not to mention, been aware of what the other has been up to.
And when Rys world is tilted, Caspian is there to lend a shoulder to try to put it back on its axis. Of course, it's blown off again when the pair goes viral, but in the best way possible, because now they're "stuck" with each other!! But Cas is going to do all he can to support Rys and not let her take the blame for their marriage "mistake", even from his family...who's members really peeved me this go-round.
I've read the series, and do love it, but some of his siblings need to calm the heck down (I'm talking to you, Gatz!) And Mama Spearman...ugh! Although, Rys mom is definitely not winning any parent of the year awards either! But through it all, Cas remains steadfast in keeping Rys calm and safe and willing to give her what she needs. Even if that's not him.
I enjoyed seeing characters from other series intermingled as well. While new readers won't have the background to chuckle at Lang or be happy to see the Aldridge in the mix...it won't take away from their enjoyment of the series. In fact, I bet they'll go back and read books that they've missed. That's how I discovered Claudia Burgoa and now she's a must read, one-click author for me.

Professional hockey player Caspian Spearman is helping out in the tasting room of his family's vineyard in the final days of the off-season when he meets veterinarian Rys, who is celebrating the upcoming start of her new job with a girls' weekend in wine country. There's an immediate connection between them, so when Rys's friend abandons her, Caspian seizes the chance to invite her to spend the evening with him. Three years later, they're still on each other's minds even though neither is willing to admit it. Rys is doing her best to move on and is even sort of dating another hockey player she met on a blind date. She decides to surprise her new boyfriend in Las Vegas during All-Star Weekend, but Rys ends up being the one surprised when she walks in on him with another woman. Heading to the bar to drown her sorrows, she runs into Caspian, who sets out to make her feel better with a night of gambling and tipsy truth or dare. This light, fun story was truly a pleasure to read; in fact, it's my favorite book of the series so far. Caspian and Rys had amazing chemistry and I loved their flirty, witty banter. I'll admit, I picked this up because it was a hockey romance. I didn't realize I was jumping into a series that was four books in. The good news, it was easy to follow Rys and Cas's story without having to read the other books.
I liked the 2 main characters together. Their meet cute was awesome, showing their chemistry together and set the stage for their romance. I didn't necessarily like the Thad angle, but it gave the story the villain it needed (although I think the moms would have been better).
This was a quick read; one that I could sit back and enjoy. I've been so heavy into fantasy reads lately, it was nice not having to keep track of every little nuance.

Since I started reading this book I knew that Caspian was going to take away from Gatsby his place in my heart as my favorite Spearman, and he did! What I didn't know was how much I was going to enjoy reading his love story with Rys, all the family & love drama, even the doubts they both had since their unexpected marriage began, and of course, the adorable, sexy and family moments they shared that melted my heart.
Rys is a lovely girl, a veterinarian who really loves her work and her patients, she is shy, with a big heart and very afraid to give her heart and be hurt, something that could be said is fulfilled when her trip to surprise Thad, her current boyfriend, doesn't go as she expected, but I loved the attitude she always had towards the situation and how she dealt with him whenever it was necessary.
Caspian is the athlete of the Spearman siblings, professional hockey player and captain of the Oregon Orcas, a boy who doesn't enjoy fame and harassment from the media, but he loves the sport because it's his special bond with his dad, something I loved hearing about him, and like the rest of the Spearmans, his family is one of the most important things to Caspian, although in this book they drive him really crazy and sometimes they cause more misunderstandings than they solve, but there is no doubt that they are one of the families I most enjoy reading about from Claudia Y. Burgoa. I also loved knowing more about Caspian, especially about his special love for Fern & Gatsby.
Mi favorite thing about this book was the way Claudia presented the past of Rys & Caspian, letting me see the chemistry & strong attraction between them from the first moment, but particularly the strong bond they formed in a short time and how neither of them could forget the other even when years passed without communicating. And the best thing of all was the way in which the things gave between them when they meet again: how playful, flirtatious and thoughtful Caspian is and the way Rys gave in to him to the point of marry him unexpectedly in Las Vegas, which brings a lot more drama to their lives, helps them to really get to know each other and realize that they are made for each other.

Rys es una chica encantadora, una veterinaria que realmente ama su trabajo y a sus pacientes, es tímida, con un gran corazón y con mucho miedo a entregar su corazón y ser lastimada, algo que se podría decir que se cumple cuando su viaje para sorprender a Thad, su actual novio, no sale como ella esperaba, pero me encantó la actitud que siempre mantuvo hacía la situación y como le hizo frente a Thad cada vez que fue necesario.
Caspian es el deportista de los hermanos Spearman, jugador de Hockey profesional y capitán de las Orcas de Oregón, un chico que no disfruta de la fama y el acoso de los medios, pero ama el deporte porque es su vinculo especial con su papá, algo que me encantó saber de él, y al igual que el resto de los Spearman, su familia es una de las cosas más importantes para Caspian, aunque en este libro lo vuelven realmente loco y a veces ocasionan más malentendidos de los que solucionan, pero no cabe duda de que son una de las familias que más disfruto leer de Claudia Y. Claudia Burgoa has done it again! I absolutely loved My Favorite Mistake; it is an incredible love at first sight love story. It is the fourth book in her Paradise Bay Billionaire Brothers series. My Favorite Mistake is my favorite book in the series, and I am looking forward to reading the remaining books in the series. Claudia Burgoa shows that she is an amazing storyteller and has once again provided her readers with amazing characters. I love that she continues to write the stories that I love to read. I love all the characters in My Favorite Mistake, they feel like family! My Favorite Mistake filled me with a rollercoaster of emotions, it was impossible to put it down, and I loved every moment on every page. Who does not love hot sexy men, strong females, loving families, and friends, who always support one another? I love how Claudia Burgoa always manages to create the "perfect" heroine, who is a strong woman on her own, to balance out the sexy, swoon worthy men. I really enjoy how the book is told in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting the insight and feelings from the different characters. I love the lighter moments where I find myself smiling and laughing aloud. My favorite moments are the ones that pull at my heartstrings that cause me to sigh, as I read the heartbreaking moments. I love how Claudia Burgoa incorporates the title of the book into the love story with a simple statement by Rys. My Favorite Mistake is filled with heartbreaking and heartwarming moments that I have come to love and expect in Claudia Burgoa love story, and she did not disappoint, especially with the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. My Favorite Mistake is an accidental marriage love story between Caspian “Cas” Spearman, professional hockey player for the Portland Orcas and Polaris Vega “Rys” Holland, veterinarian. Cas and Rys originally meet three years prior to the story when Rys visits the winery’s tasting room with her friend, Avery and they spend a memorable weekend together. Cas did not get Rys’s phone number and was not able to reach out to her. Rys soon discovers that Cas lied about what he did for a living. He insinuated that he was an actuary. They see each other again, when Rys is on the arm of Cas’s archenemy, Thad Roderick who plays for the San Jose Sharks. Rys plans to surprise Thad in Las Vegas, he is there for the All-Star Game. Rys walks in on Thad and his best friend, Cameron in a compromising position. She heads to the bar to drown her sorrows, only to be discovered by Cas. They begin drinking and gambling, and ultimately drunkenly get married by Elvis. When Rys wakes up the following morning with two rings on her left hand does she realize what they did the night before. I love the significance of the tattoo that Cas has on his back. Cas contacted his agent’s assistant requesting that the marriage license not be filed, but it was erroneously filed. Their marriage is a PR nightmare for Cas, and he is informed that he and Rys need to remain married. As they spend more time together, things begin to change between them. They share secrets that they have not revealed to each other before. I love the chemistry between Rys and Cas. I love that both Rys and Cas were both so vulnerable and that each of them changes because of their love for one another. I love how they share things that they have never shared before, especially the secrets that Cas shares about his life after his father died and Rys shares regarding his relationship with her family. I love all the things that Cas has secretly does for Rys and I love the puppies that they decide to foster. A surprise plot twist changes things between them, which included heartbreaking moments for Rys. I love the heart-to-heart conversations that Rys has with her father, which leads to Rys being willing to put her heart on the line for Cas. I love how everything gets resolved between them. I love all the changes that they are willing to make in their lives to have a life with one another. love how Cas decides to propose to Rys again, the location of the proposal and the surprise that Rys has for Cas. I also love how the epilogue went above and beyond a happily ever after. I love the characters and the family dynamic in My Favorite Mistake, the characters feel like family and friends. I enjoyed all the interactions between the Spearman family, the characters feel like family and friends. I enjoyed all the interactions between the Spearman siblings especially their teasing that made me laugh. I loved all the characters in My Favorite Mistake, it felt like a family reunion and catching up with the other Spearmans and the new little Spearmans. I also loved catching up with the Aldridges, as well. Who does not love family and friends that always have each other’s backs? I thoroughly enjoyed My Favorite Mistake, who does not love a love a fake marriage love story that turns into true love? Highly recommend this incredible love story and am so looking forward to reading the other books in the series.

Definitely no mistake reading this one
Loved this story. Wasn’t sure when I bought it since this was my first book by this author. I will now go back and read books 1-3. Can’t wait to find out the backgrounds of the other brothers since I got a glimpse of them in this book. Definitely no mistake in buying and reading this one. I now have another favorite author.

Her books are engrossing and I just love getting lost in the world she creates, it is escapism at its best. And she gives us another Spearman brother to fall in love with in this fourth book set in her “Paradise Bay Billionaire” series, a professional hockey player and captain of the Portland Orcas. Caspian had a memorable hookup with a woman he met at his brother’s vineyard and no one compared to her since and the next time he sees her, she is with one of his teammates, one he does not get along with. Polaris ‘Rys’ Vega was that hookup and she had a feeling he was a player and she was right when she learned who Caspian really was, a professional hockey player and a teammate of the man she was dating. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they captured all the characters’ emotions, projected them into their performance and had you feeling every single one. I loved how everything played out in this book, it is a beautifully plotted story with charming characters, plenty of drama, a touch of angst, heartfelt emotions, and some steamy romance. Claudia Burgoa, thank you for another wonderful story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

Teddy Hamilton and CJ Bloom did an amazing job with these characters, giving each their own voice and personality. They have a complete understanding of the characters they are portraying, taking each role and making their own, sounding believable and just as I pictured the characters to sound. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they captured all the characters’ emotions, projected them into their performance and had you feeling every single one. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another exceptional listen.

I adored this story so much! Caspian and Rys had a fantastic connection, great banter, and fabulous chemistry. I loved how patient he was with Rys and the fact that he was gradually worming his way into her heart through actions, words and deeds. He was protective of her, although he fell down somewhat during a pivotal moment, I was still rooting for him all the way because Rys had been conditioned all her life to think of men in a certain way. I really liked her, though. I thought she kept Cas on his toes. Even though she acted rashly, I liked that she pulled up her big girl's pants and owned her mistakes to realise that Cas was the whole package. This book was lots of fun, sexy, and full of family banter amongst the Spearman clan. Loved it!

This is book four in The Paradise Bay Billionaire Brother's Series and it is Cas and Rys story and omg it is definitely a must read. Cas has always loved hockey and now he plays for the Vancouver Orcas as a professional hockey player and it still makes him feel close to his dad who died when Cas was sixteen especially as it was what they always did together and when Cas had his down time who spent it in Paradise Bay where there family owned vineyards. Rys now finished and graduated from Get School and due to start her new job but at the moment she was on a break with her best friend Avery and due to do a wine tasting in Paradise Bay. When Cas and Rys meet there connection and chemistry between them is instant and strong and they ended up spending the weekend together before going there separate ways but neither forgot the weekend that they spent together and regretted not keeping in touch. When they meet again Rys had just found her boyfriend in bed with his best friend and realised that they had used her to cover what they were doing and at the bar she sees Cas again and they end up getting married because they were drunk and now they need to put out the media storm that it has caused. There are many ups and downs and trust issue's along there journey but it was really beautiful to watch them grow together as a couple and the ending was just what I was hoping for. This book takes you on a roller coaster ride right from the first page and I couldn't put it down as I needed to see what would happen next and it was so addictive and kept your attention throughout and I can't wait to read the next book in this amazing series. Claudia Burgoa is an amazing author and writer and she certainly knows how to keep her reader's attention and her story's have so much depth and that is what makes you go back time and time again to read her book's.

I absolutely adored Cas and Rys and their irresistible love story that held me captive from the first page to the last. They meet at Cas' family vineyard and have an instant connection. They both break all their rules when they spend the day together and a night of explosive passion. They can see having more with each other but since they live in different cities, they know it would never happen. So the next morning, when they go their separate ways, Rys deletes Cas' number. Cas never told Rys who he really was, enjoying that she liked him for who he truly was, not for his fame or money. Years later, they still can't forget each other, and no one has ever measured up to the connection they shared. When Rys is blindsided by the cheater she was dating, she unexpectantly sees Cas in the bar. Their connection explodes and they have fun in Vegas, even getting married! But what happens in Vegas will not stay there. It becomes a pr nightmare for Cas' hockey career. They decide to stay married until things blow over. Rys has a hard time trusting their feelings since Cas wasn't completely truthful with his identity before. But Cas knows she is his soulmate and will do whatever it takes to convince her to stay. But when her past makes trouble for them, will they fight for love, or flee from it? I loved this story so much! Cas was so sweet, thoughtful and romantic, he definitely make my heart skip a beat! My heart broke for Rys as she struggled to believe in love, but Cas had enough belief for both of them! I loved them together and cheered hard for their HEA! I love a great epilogue and this one made me totally happy! I enjoyed catching up with family members from past stories, who meddle, love and support unconditionally. I loved and completely devoured this fun, sweet and steamy romance!

I just loved the two foster pups that she brought home that turned into Cas and her fur babies. Our hero Caspian was a total swoon fest! This guy melted my heart and made me love him to bits. I loved that he wanted to prove to Rys that they were perfect together and that he really never stoped pinning for her since that night they shared.

I am a huge fan of Ms. Burgoa and this book is no exception. After a wonderful night together, Caspian Spearman knows that he found and lost his soulmate in the space of a few hours. Rhys Holland has been brought up by her overbearing, bitter mother to know that all men disappoint you and will eventually leave you. So Rhys decides to sneak out during their night together to avoid ever getting hurt. Fast forward three years, and Rhys is dating a hockey player when she surprises him in his hotel room, only to be the one surprised as he is getting up close and personal with another woman. Turns out her "relationship" was a sham, so as her anger consumes her, she heads to the bar to get very drunk and forget all the humiliation.
Turns out, she did drink a lot, with Caspian Spearman who happened to be in the bar at the same time. In fact, she married him, live-streamed the Elvis chapel wedding and woke up the next morning with very little memory of what she had done. But when Caspian asks her to stay married until after the hockey season, Rhys agrees because she actually likes the time she spends with Cas. As they spend more time together, Caspian has a private persona that he shares with Rhys and a public persona that entails listening and not talking for fear of saying something wrong in the press. Kinda of like finding out that Caspian was the Captain of the Orcas and she didn't know who he was and he never mentioned it. She decides to surprise Thad in Vegas only to find him in bed with his "best friend" who is married and records it all and tells him to enjoy but whatever it was they had, it's over! She heads to bar and before she knows it there is a person standing next to her, Caspian Spearman, can this night get any worse. I guess it can when she wakes up the next morning with a wedding ring on and Caspian sleeping next to her. This is the same guy she hasn't been able to forget the last 3 yrs.
The wedding has gone viral, dating one player and marrying another. Rys agrees to stay married until all can be handled by his team's PR people. He is so different when it's just the two of them together. They spend a lot of time together and the chemistry is still there but is it enough to keep them together or will other factors tear them apart?
