The scandal isn’t in the secret, it’s in those unwilling to accept that love can be unconventional, dark, and depraved.

On my 18th birthday, I gave myself to the man who’s always at the forefront of my mind, the one I’ve loved my entire life.

What I thought would be our beginning turned out to be the end, and the direct reason he abandoned me and my sister. Leaving us on our own, all because he can’t look at me after what we did.

F*ck that!

Instead of letting the rejection bring me down, it becomes the reason for my transformation. My job at Dirty Diamonds opens my eyes to a brutal reality I never even knew existed, let alone in small, quiet Briarwood. And I’m quickly learning that Dante might not have been the man I thought him to be.

The girl Dante left behind doesn’t exist anymore, and when he returns to Briarwood, he’ll learn that I haven’t just spent my time pining. I’ve built a new life, one where I’ve turned my heartache into a purpose and a need for revenge.

In a bid to silence my nightmares, Dante used to call me his perfect storm. I’m not sure he’s ready to meet the new me… the Storm of Briarwood.

PLEASE NOTE: Dante’s Storm is book 1 in the Scandalous Secrets series. The series is a shared-world with three standalone books written by different authors. Each book features a different couple.

Scandalous Secrets is set in a fictitious town in England, and the books are written with British spelling, slang, and grammar.

I want her – my niece, my perfect Storm – too much to let her go, ever.

I have been looking forward to reading this book since it was teased back in January, and it did not disappoint. Dante’s Storm is a taste of the forbidden, taboo love between a niece and her uncle. It is mixed with a story about a vigilante organization that rescues abused children and rains terror upon their abusers.

The vigilante part was excellent! Just the thought of a group bringing retribution to the filth and scum who prey on children, using torture to uncover kidnapping rings with impunity, and making sure that the deaths fit their crimes. I think I liked the basis of the organization more than the romance portion of the book, and I loved the romance!

While their joining is forbidden, as I read, I no longer looked at the FMC and MMC’s relationship as something taboo but as any couple in love to the point of obsession. They almost needed their own reminders, lest they air their relationship status to the whole world, who would not understand their connection. They did not have an easy road to their HEA, having to face their feelings and temper them against society’s norms.

The sex is intense, as they have incredible chemistry and are magnetically drawn to each other. There is some fun and hot usage of sex toys with a reoccurring theme, and I will never look at a banana the same way again.

I am thrilled that I grabbed a copy of this book and recommend it to those who like taboo romances. Make sure you download the extended epilogues that can be found at the end of the book!

I love diving into books blindly because I don’t have a chance to overthink anything and this one went beyond any expectations I could ever have.

Storm is a young woman who knows what she wants and will go to great lengths to get it. She proved herself to be strong, capable, brave and stubborn time and time again through out this story and I love her to pieces.

Dante is a man who knows right from wrong…even goes as far as punishing those wrong doers to the nth degree. But I love how this man loves - he’s just as possessive as he is torn and haunted and I couldn’t stop myself from swooning.

Bibi packed so much into this delicious story and it didn’t feel like too much at all (I even downloaded the epilogues and read them right after finishing because I couldn’t get enough). You want forbidden? Taboo? Age gap (16 yr difference)? How about a bit of action, mystery and suspense with just the right amount of growly, possessive steam and angst…oh my sweetness, the angst. Bibi covers it all with a perfection I have only seen in a few other books. I loved how this talented queen wrote the main characters before and after, the side characters (and dropped hints to what they do), and the plot with a finesse that left me breathless more than once. I loved it and seriously can’t wait to see where she takes this series.

DNF 30% 🫠

Also in case you stumble across this review looking to see if this is blood related incest, yes, it is. Don’t let my shelf tag fool you, there is no ‘step’ anything here. 16 year age gap, FMC’s father’s brother uncle relation. Dante is the FMCs guardian from like age 9 or something. Not totally sure, and honestly I stopped caring once i realized I wasn’t going to finish.

This book started out on the wrong foot. The first chapter is just all over, it’s weird and totally unrealistic, leaving readers confused. I had to check twice back at the blurb to make sure I was reading the right book. I almost DNF’ed at 2% in because the writing was wacky, but damn it I wanted taboo so I pressed on. I think the author was going for edgy and super dark, but it came across as comically silly.

The writing in ch 2 gets better but ultimately the inconsistency in writing and poor plot made me toss in the towel.

Dante's Storm by B. Lybaek is a dark taboo romance. This is the first book in the Scandalous Secrets series.

This is the first book of B. Lybaek's and it won't be my last. When I read the blurb and trigger warnings for this book, I couldn't wait to read it and I was not disappointed.

I want to start by saying that this book has a lot dark aspects so I would highly recommend reading the trigger warnings before jumping in.

The chemistry between Dante and Caitlin is off the charts! Their relationship is extremely taboo and causes a lot of issues for them. But you can't help but root for them.

I can't wait for the next book in the series Lily's Ash by Sarah JD to be released on April 19,2023 so I can get Lily and Asher's story.

I would recommend this book if you like taboo romances, unconventional romances, dark romances, or romantic suspense.

Action. Mystery. Suspense. Forbidden taboo relationship. Oh my!

Dante's Storm by B Lybaek is the first book in the Scandalous Secrets series; a dark and twisted series of standalones featuring different couples and taboo/forbidden romances.

I wasn't totally sure what I was getting myself into when I started reading Dante's Storm, but I was left breathless and emotional. I was hooked from the very first page.

Be sure to read the Trigger warnings. This book is not for the faint hearted.

I received an ARC for a voluntary review.

This book comes with trigger warning, please head authors advice.

This author is a first for me, and after reading this book, will definitely not be the last.

When the one thing you want most, is the one thing you can’t have, but when Caitlin make’s her mind up, to fulfil her own wants, needs and desires, she act on those feelings, taking away Dante’s choice, leading to an outcome she didn’t foresee coming, shattering her heart and making her realise that the only person she can truly trust and rely on is herself.

And as time passes, she becomes more than the girl she was in the past, reinventing herself with a new name. Now only aware of the darkness that surrounds the town she lives in, she plays her part, by advocating for those who need her to most, however there is one person, who she thought she knew, but didn’t, comes storming back into her life, opening her eyes and turning her world on its axis.

When Dante realises he’s in love with Caitlin, his niece, after a two year hiatus he returns to Briarwood, only the same girl he walked out on, isn’t the same girl when he returns. And when they come face to face with each other, all Caitlin feels is anger, betrayal and hurt.

But more-so the shock that Dante gets when he learns Caitlin/ Storm are one and the same, that the life he lived, the one he worked so hard to keep Caitlin from, she has immersed herself in every facet of his business. And that does not sit well with Dante at all.

But as they navigate this new chapter in their lives they have to contend with the reality of their situation. The past won’t remain in the past, and both have to come to terms with the fact that they were both responsible for their actions, however Dante is the one who was at fault, scared to accept his feelings.

All is forgiven when Dante and Storm have that conversation, where Storm calls out Dante for his actions. Knowing that he hurt her, he needs to be honest with her, does he disclose his truths, but it doesn’t change anything for her, for her trust means everything, having faith in him does he fully accept the bad with the good, especially when they finally declare there love for each other.

Storm is her own person, she’s had to accept things that she cannot change, and move forward to make a life for herself, one that doesn’t include Dante, but he isn’t making it easy for her. The push and pull between them is magnetic, they know it’s forbidden and one, now they can no longer deny, they give into temptation, because when they come together, their hearts beat as one and when they claim each other it is in the most decadent and sensual of ways that severs his control and takes her beyond her boundaries and limits.

But they are not alone in their desire to help make the world a better and safe place for those that are vulnerable, but in the ensuing chaos does Storm become a victim, in the process does she learn some unsettling truths, coming face to face with those responsible, yet in the end the one’s responsible have been held accountable for their actions.

Storm makes that all important decision to move closer to her sister Avery, Dante is all for the change, and it is something that they both need, putting the past behind them and moving forward in their relationship and their lives, giving them the fresh start they need to indulge in each other without judgment or recrimination.

For they have changed each other’s life forever and Dante doesn’t plans on ever letting her go, for she is his perfect storm.

This story is told from dual POV, we get to see the growth and development of these characters through there strengths and weaknesses, what we see and feel shapes these characters, giving readers insight to who they are flaws and all, that they are in fact humans who all feel but handle what happened to them differently.

Their story will take you on a wild ride, having you turn page after page, this book had me from the beginning to the end. Reading this story, it enables the readers to really connect with the characters. The author knows how to write, and I will be coming back for more.

This book has it all MF age-gap mafia taboo uncle/niece contemporary dark romance. Possessive dominant alpha male, a fiery heroine who gives a good as she gets, touch her and die vibes, family and friend dynamics, madness, mayhem, revenge, vengeance, violence, defiance, manipulation, adrenaline seeking suspense, jealousy, twists, truths and betrayal.

The tension between them was undeniable, she was very responsive to him, as he was very in tune with her, the friction burning hot between them, but those s*x scenes including those BDSM elements were blazing hot, downright dirty and physical, it had all the pleasure and passion one would expect when Dante shows Storm that he will be the only man that she will ever need, for Dante will always get what he wants, giving Storm the pain and pleasure, she deserves, his possessiveness and obsessive need for control and dominance, there foreplay it was off the charts and had all of the feels.

And there happily ever after was bittersweet!

Highly recommend both author and book!

1st person/dual pov
Spice: 5/5

I’ll be honest this is more like a 4.5 than a 4 but once again we’re not given the option for half stars. Anyways…

I’ve been struggling to find the words I want to say about this book so bear with me here lol. I’ll start with I really enjoyed it some moments a little more than others but overall it was really good. I was surprised by the plot a little bit because I didn’t sense things going in the direction it did from the blurb. So that brought its own level of intrigue to the book and I really enjoyed how things played out in the background of their story in that regard.

When it comes to the relationship between Dante and Caitlin/Storm I had mixed feelings mostly in the beginning. Things started off with the usual tension you find in taboo romance. Dante and “Caitlin” both have feelings sparking for each other that they know are inappropriate but are getting hard to ignore. Then an “oops” moment that’s a tad awkward sort of shifts the dynamic a little and down the rabbit hole we go. The flirting and the teasing start to increase and it’s obvious there’s something between them even if there shouldn’t be. This is my favorite part of this kind of book because you really get to see how much or how little they fight the pull to each other.

And boy does Dante fight it more than I expected him to. Caitlin went after what she wanted there’s no denying that. Weirdly, this is where I was on the fence about my feelings, and don’t ask me why cause I can’t really answer that. Something about the way things went down in their first actual moment together just had me feeling off with Caitlin. I felt so bad for Dante through that entire scene and though his actions following it were pretty hurtful I understand him feeling like it was the best thing for him to do.

Once Caitlin becomes “Storm” thought I felt a shift in how much I was enjoying the book. I found myself liking her a little more as Storm and I feel like she somehow fits better with Dante more than she did before. Of course, this is where the spice kicked up quite a bit as well and I found myself with my jaw dropping a couple of times. 😂 I will certainly never look at bananas the same way again that’s for sure! 🙈

The ending was just a tad abrupt for my liking but I didn’t exactly hate it. Other than a moment where my heart took a beating that I didn’t see coming things got wrapped up and I wasn’t left with anything unanswered or unresolved. So like I previously stated as a whole I liked the story a lot and I’m interested in seeing how/if it ties into the others that are coming up in the series.

Make sure you check the TW before reading as this book does contain some fairly dark content.

Dante's Storm, the first book in the Scandalous Secrets series by B. Lybaek is a dark forbidden taboo romance between an uncle and his niece and their story will suck you right in and leave you questioning everything you thought you knew about rights and wrongs, and finally, about accepting fate. This is the story of two souls wanting to connect in a world with labels and man is it a crazy ride!

That makes this story even more intriguing is that Dante is essentially a vigilante, taking down child traffickers and pedophiles alike. So of course he’s tormented, tortured and overwhelmed when his feelings for his oldest niece morph into something a bit…more. And equally frustrated when he finds out Caitlin feels the same way. Walking a thin line, he’s able to keep his distance until one night changes everything and causes Dante to leave.

And when he does it causes Cait to change as well and she takes on a new strong and fierce persona as Storm—growing and evolving tremendously from the shy confused teen she once was that was so blindly in love with her uncle. Vowing to do anything for her sister, and the poor girls that she feels connected too and can’t help but want to save, Storm will do whatever is necessary. Then Dante suddenly comes back and makes an appearance and things really get complicated..and oh so heated!!!

Dante and Storm will definitely put your heart and soul through an emotional wringer but dang is it worth it!!! Their relationship has such a unique dynamic throughout the entire series you can’t help but be enthralled by their interactions and chemistry, page after page, even when you know you shouldn’t! Every feeling and interaction was intense and explosive you could practically feel the burn even through the pages. So…are you ready to brave the storm? ;) If so, dive in now!

Overall if you’re a fan of dark forbidden romances that push their limits and are full of delicious steam, then this book is for you! And as always, be sure to check for triggers before journeying down this dark hall…just in case. ;)

Wow, wow, wow. I didn't think I would love a very very Taboo story this much, but I absolutely loved it!!!
My 1st book by this author and now I'm a huge fan. Can't wait for the rest of the series.

Dantes Storm is a very Dark Mafia Romance, Extremely Taboo (Uncle/Niece), Age Gap and Forbidden Trope.

This was a highly emotional, a tion, drama, Suspense, violence, betrayal, twists and turns, possessive alpha, touch her and unalive, angst, slow burn and hot hot spice (some BDSM elements).

Well when a book has all that, how can you not love it.
I liked how the author writes and captures your thoughts and feelings from the word go.
She really makes you feel all these feelings the characters are going through and that's talent.

Caitlin was such a strong character, I loved her spitfire attitude. She really re invented herself after the heartache at 18, when Dante disappeared after giving the best night of her life.

Dante had to leave because of the guilt he felt, for having feelings for his neice. It's forbidden and wrong.
He comes back 2 years later because he can't ignore his love for Caitlin.

I also enjoyed reading about the vigilant organisation that was a main point of the story and how it intertwines all the characters.

It's weird as I thought I would be weirded out about the relationship but their love and chemistry was so pure and hot, you easily forget that taboo relationship. They were so beautiful together you just couldn't help but melt every time.

Unfortunately Dante broke Caitlin, his storm. So building that bridge was a hard fought battle before both cave in.

If you're into spicy books then this will quench your cravings.

Please read the trigger notes. But you will love it, as it was just brilliant.

ARC REVIEW

This was an amazing read, absolutely loved it could not put it down. when I got the chance to ARC read, I was supper excited. I love dark, twisted, Taboo romances, the darker the better. One of my favorite quotes "I love you, baby. You are my perfect storm" - Dante. This book consists of Taboo (uncle/niece), Vîrgïn Heroine, Age Gap (17yr), and a Jacobs Ladder. Definitely check trigger warning, this book may not be for some readers, due to the other triggers mentioned. This book also had some really funny moments, especially during the smexy scenes. In some parts I couldn't help but bust out laughing. One scene in particular dealing with a banana, which I don't think I'll be able to eat one for a while LOL!

This story is about a young woman named Caitlin (18yrs) and her uncle Dante (34yrs). For as long as Caitlin can remember she's had this undeniable attraction to Dante. One fateful night Caitlin, decided to take what she wants, under the guise. Due to what she pulled, Dante leaves, never to be heard from again.
2 years later, Caitlin now goes by the name Storm, she works at a club called Dirty Diamonds. Dante has now returned back home, wanting Caitlins Forgiveness and wants to make things right. Caitlin soon finds out that Dante is actually the owner of Dirty Diamonds, both not realizing until the day they come face to face in his office.
Despite some of the toxic aspects of their relationship, it does show the amount of love they have for each other.

This story focuses on Caitlin/Storm and her blood uncle Dante! There’s also Caitlin’s sister Avery who appears in this but is getting her own story in the shared world!
Anyway back to our FMC and MMC, after a tragic accident leaves Cait and Aves as orphans Dante has to come back from the other side of the pond to raise these two young girls! Cue Caitlin beginning to depend on her uncle and that develop into feelings for him…..he has lusty thoughts for her but it’s certainly not as developed as Caits! Until a drastic moment cause heart ache all round…a new life for Storm Cait and the chance for Dante to realise what those pesky feelings actually are 😬😬
He decides to renter Storms life with the demand she be is…there’s some grovelling going on, but personally I would have liked Storm to put him through his paces a bit more! 🙈
Although you cannot deny the chemistry and connection between these two…and how they explore that together 🌶️🔥🌶️
And as they reveal what they’ve been up to, Dante revealing what his job really is and Storm her role in taking down the family - they really strengthen their connection and do good for the world!! 🥰
There’s lots of drama, some angst and definitely smutty action, and even with it being taboo it’s not icky!
It’s a bit of an abrupt ending but there’s an epilogue accessed through a link at the end 😃

Seppy's 4-Star Review:
Dante is a vigilante killer, taking down child traffickers and pedophiles. He seems like a moral guy but fights his attraction and need to love and comfort his niece Cait in a way an uncle wouldn't do. It doesn't help that Cait pushes the attraction, feeling, and emotions between the two. Cait has deep romantic feelings for her uncle Dante. She can't let it go and she pushes him at every turn to give into those feelings.  One night Cait pushes so far that he freaks out and flees leaving Cait and his other niece behind. Two years later Cait changes her name to Storm and is doing what she needs to do to take care of herself and her sister.  Then Dante comes back, what happens next? One-click to find out!

Dante and Cait need each other in a way a niece and uncle should need and want each other. There is a  lot of push and pull because the dilemma of what they want to give in is morally said to be wrong. I didn't have any issues with this taboo relationship and I think these two are perfect for each other and give and take what they both need. I didn't think there was a need to constantly mention the fact that they are uncle and niece; I don't think there is a need for that. That is really the only thing I didn't enjoy. I love a good taboo romance with some vigilantes taking down the creeps out there. I liked this one and enjoyed it.

DAMN! This was a dark, depraved, definitely taboo, and utterly delicious story that I could not get enough of. I was instantly hooked on the story and devoured every titillating and bloody moment of it.

This forbidden/taboo love story between an Uncle and Niece didn’t feel taboo at all. I fell in love with these two together. Even though Storm may have went about it the wrong way, you can’t fault her for trying to get Dante to fess up to his true feelings. I loved how she makes him grovel and work for her forgiveness in the end. But honestly their relationship just seemed right. They were perfectly matched.

Then you add in the vigilante part of the storyline and I was riveted to my seat and cheering on the vengeance, violence and bloodiness that was necessary to take down those that definitely deserved it. I loved this part of the story and I could have kept reading more about this amazing group and their bloody work.

This story was also so freaking HOT, I was sure that I was going to combust from the ache these two were delivering to my poor lady parts! Also, I am not quite sure that I will be able to look at a banana again without visualizing certain parts of this story!

Well written with amazing characters and a plot that was suspenseful, entertaining, violent, thrilling and extremely sexy! I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

✨ ARC Review ✨

Dante saves children from rough foster situations or adults who prey on children that are being abused etc with the help of his friends Beth and Baz. there is also a vigilante (Crimson Angel) that helps them find the people they’re looking for.

Caitlin is Dante’s niece and she’s freshly 18.

There is some tension between the two of them and one night unexpectedly things change between them when Caitlin pulls a sly stunt.

fast forward 2 years Dante left Ave (younger niece) and Caitlin without saying good bye to caitlin to go to the United States. Then he ends up coming back home and apologizes to Cait but she’s still extremely upset he left in the first place especially without saying goodbye, but their attraction to each other won’t go away no matter how hard they both try to ignore it.

honestly reading this book just made me want a banana. 🍌 (ch 27)

i’m not going to lie parts had me confused but my brain is slow😂 it came together nicely in the end!!

Dante and Cait are a hot mess and toxic at times but their love for each other is true. glad i read it.

I have been so impatiently waiting to finally get this book in my hands and it did not disappoint.

The connection between our two main characters Dante and Caitlin was instantly recognisable and they both failed miserably to deny their feelings for each other. Dante struggles with his feelings due to the fact he is a vigilante of sorts, taking down pedophiles and child traffickers, he doesn't want to be anything like the people he is trying to rid the world of. One night changes everything for these two, Dante runs away for 2 years leaving Cait to pick up the pieces and take over looking after her little sister Avery.

Caitlin becomes Storm, a head strong and fierce woman who will do anything to help and protect a young girl she found on the side of the road. Once her uncle returns she shows him just how much she has grown and it sure is a beautiful sight.

The whole taboo aspect was perfect and you'll be in for some super hot scenes! There was plenty of twists I was not expecting and had me second guessing other characters that I thought were good.

Dantes Storm was the perfect book to set up the rest of the books in the Scandalous Secrets series which will feature other characters that we met in this book.

Dante has been taking care of his nieces since their parents passed away, as the years go on, he has felt himself attracted to Caitlyn and struggles with his feelings for her. Caitlyn pushes Dante's buttons with his attraction for her to the point when he reacts and gives in to their chemistry to only push her away again. Caitlyn takes things into her own hands on her 18th birthday which leads to Dante running. Two years later Caitlyn no longer exists Storm is who she is now. I loved the depth of this story; Dante is part of a vigilante group out to save/protect children from the dirt of humanity that preys and abuses them. I love that story line even if the love he has for his perfect storm is taboo he is a good man. This book is a fast paced read that will keep you captivated and glued to the story as you read. There is so much more to this story then the forbidden taboo romance and that's what makes this story so good. So many secrets still need to be told and it makes this series exciting even with them each being a standalone they are all connected, and I can't wait to read the next one. I was given this book as an ARC for my honest review.

I read this book as an ARC for an honest review..
Caitlin and Ave loose their parents young and are brought up by Uncle Dante. As they grow Caitlin develops feeling for her Uncle and him to her. This is actually only half the story as the rest centres on his work and how he's made his fortune (capturing and dealing with child traffickers and abusers) and later Caitlin does the same.
A taboo read and a first for me however I honestly really enjoyed it. It was hot and and exciting with lots of explicit adult scenes and dirty talk. But then it also focused largely on what they were both doing with their work trying to save so many children and help make the world better. And although the book Is primarly a dark romance you didn't loose the rest of the story to that.
I'd recommend anyone wanting to dip a toe into a taboo trope to give this a go as it didn't feel any ick as Id anticipated it would! Plenty of triggers throughout also so maybe check those out before diving in if you're unsure!

Dante's Storm was such a different read for me. Different in a very good way. I always like to push the envelope with what I read and boy did this one push.

Dante is basically a vigilante, taking down child traffickers and pedophiles. He has a pretty straight moral compass until it comes to his neice (and torture of the aforementioned traffickers and pedophiles). Cait has had deep feelings for Dante and not all of them familial. One night changes absolutely everything and Dante leaves without so much as a goodbye. Fast forward and Cait, now Storm, is paving her own way. Standing on her own two feet and not relying on anyone. But when Dante comes back things are about to get real and complicated. How can they come back from this you ask? You'll have to read to find out.

The relationship between Dante and Cait is such a push/pull dynamic. It's fascinating to say the least. Like I said this book fully pushed the envelope for me, and I loved it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and 🌶🌶🌶🌶 absolutely can not wait for the next two books!

I do love a good taboo trope and this fit the bill perfectly. It is a dark romance, age-gap, mafia, story M/F with uncle/niece (blood related). I sort of went in blind other than knowing the TW so didn’t really know what to expect and to be honest I’m glad I did. It has a really good storyline with drama, action, high emotions and of course spice. I thought it was well written with great characters and once I started I didn’t want to put it down. The smexual tension between the MC’s was sizzling and the spice was hot! It introduced us to some side characters that will be appearing in books two and three of the series, both of which are written by different authors but will continue with the over arching storyline of all three books. I am really looking forward to seeing the development of the story and how each author writes the characters in their own way. Although the story will continue in the next two books the couple from this book get their HFN ending. As with all dark romance please check your TW before reading.

Didn’t really mind the taboo aspect of this book but when I thought Caitlyn/Storm would change to a new person like how it was painted when chapter 2 phase started, I was left sorely disappointed. Didn’t care that Dante did not celibate after he left because he was still in denial with his feeling but when he realized he loved Storm and went back to her, only for Storm to found him later (after two years) with Lily between his legs. What a joke. Dare I say if Storm hadn’t intervened, he might’ve even gotten to bed with Lily. Again, what a joke.

And when I thought she would change and let Dante grovel (because the mistake between them aside, he was her only guardian and he really upped and left just like that. What kind of bastard does that? Dante, apparently) the said grovel was barely there before she let him have her again. New person who? She’s still her old self, pining for a guy who left her for two years with no communication and basically, nothing else. Just disappeared and lived his own life like he hadn’t just discarded his own niece after he deflowered her.

Excellent!!
I loved the storyline. It moved at a great pace and kept my attention the whole time. There were also a few twists that I didn't see coming, so it kept me on my toes at times.
We get few different tropes in this book, age gap and taboo. We also get a little suspense, crazy times, and steam. There was no shortage of spice. 🍌🍌It was all throughout the book and it was so hot!! 🥵
I loved Cait/Storm. She was confident, wasn't shy about what she wanted and was so supportive to her sister.
Dante, was a great MMC. He was the right amount of j/p, strong and also caring for those he loved. Together, Dante & Storm were 🔥!!
I loved the ending!! The bonus epilogues were a fantastic addition!!

One day Im scrolling through Instagram when I came across this author and this book. Let's just say this will not be my last book. This book is top-of-the-line taboo and I was all invested. These two were a mess no other way around it. I absolutely loved watching Caitlin grow. This girl was handed a crap card game called life but it did not keep her down. I had a love-hate relationship with Dante his actions at one point made me want to throttle him. Did he grovel? You bet he did. This couple's love story was a hot mess and the build-up in this story was perfect. If you can get past the taboo part of the book you will probably like it also. I adored Avery and can't wait for her book. I have a feeling this will be one of my favorite series.

Caitlin's eighteenth birthday is the day she decided to take charge, it's the day her whole life changed and it's the day that Caitlin disappeared and Storm was born.

Two years of living her life as Storm, working to save the life of a little girl she rescued she never anticipated her uncle would ever come back and she really didn't bargain for him being her boss.

This book is a taboo story of forbidden love. Dante and Storm are fireworks in and out of the bedroom, with the story following the darkness of Dante's work and Storm's introduction into his business you soon realise that this book is opening us up to a world of corruption. The other characters in the book are hiding so many secrets you'll be dying to find out more!

TW: Abuse, Child Trafficking, Mention of Child Abuse, Child Death, Torture, Kidnapping, Non-Con, PTSD, Implied Sexual Assault, Unaliving, Violence
3.5*

Thank you to the author for providing me with an E-ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

This book follows Dante and Caitlyn. Dante has been taking care of his nieces since their parents passed away. As years go on, Dante develops feelings for Caitlyn, and he struggles with those feelings because Caitlyn is his niece. Caitlyn is always bursting Dante's bubble for his attraction to her. It came to the point where he reacts and gives in but only to push Caitlyn away again.

I enjoyed reading this book, and I loved the main characters. This book is taboo where the male main character is the uncle and the female main character is the niece. I felt like this book could of be a little bit shorter with less characters. I was confused for some of the book because I felt like there was too many characters.

Ooohhh this book had me from page one. It battered my emotions throughout, then left me needing more at the end! I absolutely love a dark, forbidden romance especially with a big age gap. The way Dante reacts to Cait in the beginning kinda crushes my once teenage girl heart. I cheer her on with fingers crossed that she gets her way. Dante had so many secrets, and I loved when the pieces started coming together.

Every time I read a book by Bibi it gets better and better, I’m not even sure how, because her writing is already so damn good! The writing style, genre, tropes, characters, emotions…all of it is what I look for in a dark romance. I absolutely recommend this book to dark, twisted, forbidden romance readers. Heed the trigger warnings by the author, there’s quite a few.

This is fantastic taboo love between uncle and niece. Cait has been in love with Dante for long time. On 18th birthday she take control of things and take things to another level with Dante. But at the same time Dante runs always from her because he is afraid of his feelings. Now heartbroken Cait recreates herself as Storm. Storm is powerful and takes on a lot to take down the bad guys. After two years away Dante returns to found Storm his niece has grown into an incredible women who stills owns his heart. Through everything their journey together and apart will carry you on emotional rollercoaster. But in the end can their love survive? This is one series you don’t want to miss.

I am a HUGE dark taboo romance reader, this one was AMAZING! Please check TW and CW before you read this book (if you need to). I loved Dante and how incredibly protective he was. Caitlin was a great FMC. She had a rough time growing up after the death of her parents, but she really became a tough badass FMC, which are my favorite. Dante had a dirty dirty mouth, and I didn’t mind one bit. The secondary characters in this book were great, especially Avery. The action and drama that took place were perfectly written. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series and see which characters are in them and.

Good Read Great Spice
Really liked Dante and Storms relationship there love for each other and how it evolves from uncle and niece to lovers was done well. The story line was good but dark at some points so check triggers. Storm and Avery’s relationship makes your heart melt l, it makes me want a sister to have that unconditional love and lifetime best friend. You really feel the passion between Dante and Storm they will do anything for each other and just want to be around each other 24/7. Great first book I can’t wait to see what else they do with this series

I knew from the blurb that this book would be interesting but I had no idea I would fall head first into its pages and get trapped there! I enjoyed the characters and the background story of the Dirty Diamonds and what exactly they do. Honestly the only disappointment is that there wasn't more to read and that it ended at all. I feel like these characters deserve so much more time in book world because we haven't even scratched the surface of the club and it's activities and what it means for the main characters relationship from here on out. So sad.
