One thing I know when I read a book from this author; it will be spicy af. So when I read this was a reverse age gap to boot. I ran to read this book. It’s exactly what I expected and more.
Everyone knows Lily as the divorced housewife and mother to twins now in college. Only a handful know her secret. It's a doozy.
Asher is her son's best friend, just out of prison, and needs a place to stay. You guessed it; he is now living at Lilly’s house.
These two are a trip and a wild ride. Asher has always loved Lily and waited til the right moment. At the same time, Lily was in a loveless marriage.
By the end of the book, I had a big crush on Lily, and Asher was the perfect match for Lilly and her demon. Asher is my kind of flithy.

WHEW! I'll be honest I wasn't sure how much I was going to like the reverse age gap in this one before I started reading it. It's not something I read a lot of because I'm usually not a fan of the MMC in them. Well, let me tell you I am a huge fan of this one! Asher was a guy I did not see coming and I couldn't get enough of him. In fact, I didn't see Lily's character coming either. After seeing her character in the previous book in this series, Dante's Inferno, I was sort of on the fence about whether or not I liked her. I was hoping that her book would change that and what I discovered about her shook me!
Finding out who she is as soon as the book opened was such a hook there was no way I was going to put it down after that. Because now that I knew I needed to know how she ended up here and what that meant for her character moving forward. Apparently Lily has done an excellent job of keeping this huge secret about herself hidden from pretty much everyone around her which explains why I didn't see it coming. It definitely answers some questions I had after finishing the first book. Her character is so much deeper than I originally pegged her to be and seeing all of those layers peeled back just made me want to read more about her.
Then we have Asher... oh my lord. At first, he felt like a kid because all I could see in my head was a teenager since Lily kept mentioning he was her twin boys' best friend. It didn't take long for Ash to change that image of him though. The mouth on this guy! He is so blunt and honest with her most of the time that it blew me away. He knows what he wants and he's not afraid to let her know that what he wants is her. Beyond the sexual attraction and chemistry, he really does care about her and sees all the different parts of her. None of that makes him want her any less which is something she needs and deserves. It's also worth mentioning that the way this guy worships her (even if he's a tad on the obsessive side lol) is the hottest thing about him. I mean his pleasure comes from her pleasure and that is just top-tier smut right there.
Now for all my fellow somno kink lovers out there - add this to your TBR. It had a good chunk of it and I devoured every second of it! I do not see enough of this in books so that was a huge bonus for me as I was reading to have it keep popping up in the story. Mmmph! Sarah is out here giving a girl what she really wants with this one lol!

Lily's Ash by Sarah JD is a dark forbidden romance. This is the second book in the Scandalous Secrets series.
This is the second book of Sarah's that I have read, and it won't be my last. When I read the blurb and trigger warnings for this series, I couldn't wait to read it and I was not disappointed.
The chemistry between Asher and Lily was off the charts! The relationship is messy, but you couldn't help but root for them. I loved that we got both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
I can't wait for the next book in the series Avery's Fall by T.L. Hodel to be released in May 2023.
I would recommend this book if you like dark romances, taboo or forbidden romances, reverse age gap romances, or romantic suspense.

To be honest, I went into this book with a few reservations thinking I wouldn’t be able to enjoy reverse age-gap but let me tell you, this was probably one of the hottest books I have read this year and I read quite a lot. I couldn’t believe I actually coveted a younger, much younger guy for just a minute there (a long minute, mind you😉). The plot line was masterfully deep and complex so know that it is NOT just another smutt romance. Lily was hiding and she really had a story to tell and somehow, this “boy”, Asher, has managed to become the balm to her soul and put her in the center of his universe. I have been enjoying Sarah J. D.’s book for a while and recommend her stories to anyone with an open mind.

I couldn’t put this book down. It is a dark, reverse age-gap romance, and I loved every single moment of Lily and Ashers' story. The spice was hot and delicious, and the way Asher worshipped Lily was just everything! The storyline is great with drama, twists, and a few omg moments. This is the second book in the scandalous secrets trilogy, all written by different authors and with an overarching story and characters. I can't wait to read Averys story next. Please check your TW before reading.

I finished this up last night. I could barely put it down. Aside from work being in the way, I just devoured this thing. This book had me feeling all sorts of different emotions. Especially when Lily keeps arguing and denying her feelings. Girl, I get it. But at the same time, just put your hand in his and leap! There were lots of aww moments (because let’s face it, Asher has a lot of aww moments). And there’s a few haha moments, a few omg moments. And then there’s a lot spicy moments. Oh and let me tell you there’s plenty of that spice. Asher is one dirty, filthy man.
Lily and Asher shouldn’t work but they do. They just fit perfectly well together. And this book had me rooting for them, also the story line in this is just…ugh it’s so freaking good. There’s slight stalker vibes, a little wait what moment near the end that had me gasping!
Super super good. Looking forward to Avery’s story.

A warning before you start reading this. This book is pretty dark and some of the content might upset some folks.
Lily (FMC) is a contradiction of a character. To her twin sons, Ex-husband and the people that she works with she's a a sweet hard working mum. Only under that layer of domesticity she is an assassin but one with a heart. Like a vigilante riding the streets of the filth that pollute it. Things become complicated when her sons friend ends up living with her and all her secrets threaten to be uncovered. For me that's when things started to become so much more gripping. I loved the dynamic Lily and Asher had. Not only was it steamy as hell but it was also problematic with her side job and her alter ego. So it was so twistingly good. Now Ill have to get my hands on Dante's book (the first book in this series) because I'm curious to see how his book panned out! This was a killer (quite literally!!) read.

Phew!!!!!! Sarah JD delivered with this one! You have dark taboo with forbidden romance and reverse age-gap! Asher and Lily have a 17 year age gap and it is all of the deliciousness! It is dark, twisted, angsty, and oh so spicy!!!! Asher and Lily’s spicy scenes are pure scorching hot fire! Lily is one badass FMC!!! This book doesn’t not come without some twists, turns, secrets, and emotions along the way. Please check those triggers though!

Addictive
Every book that I've read by this author, I've enjoyed and loved. Lily's Ash is possibly my favourite so far, I fell for Asher and I loved Lily. Together, their romance is absolutely filthy, hot and what society may deem wrong but yet it was beautiful. I loved watching them fight against it, and yet loving each facet of each other. I can't wait to read more of this author's work and read more from this series (interconnected standalones by different authors). Highly Recommend however do check the CWs if you need to.

Gonna be honest Sarah, when I saw it was a reverse age gap I paused, because somehow us women were trained to think the worst of that situation but let me say, damn!
Asher is not a little boy, he’s a man who knows what he wants. Lily is not just a mom, and a provider…..she’s also a little darker 🖤🔪 There was some push and pull but Asher was not gonna let this one go (so much yes) 🔥🔥 all of your books have that hook that suck you in and make you WANT to read more.
And btw my YOUNGER fiancé thanks you for the spice you brought into our lives. Mrs. Robinson ✌🏼💦

Nothing beats a badass FMC who can hold her own...she doesn't NEED anybody to take care of her but she knows something is missing and there is one person who can fill that void...perfectly I may add.
I absolutely adored Lily and it lifted a weight off knowing that she didn't have to fully hide herself anymore....she could finally let the true dark side of herself bleed into her normal life.

Wow!! What a roller-coaster of a read. I didn't want to put it down!!
The storyline is a little on the darker side, but I loved it!
We get suspense, angst, steam and so much more. The spice is all throughout too and it is soo good!! 🥵

Omg....this book was fantastic! There were twists, turns, and pure mayhem. One of the twists being a reverse age gap. And the best friend to her own kids! But it just doesn't matter. I was actually rooting for them. Asher is so dirty and yummy! Before diving in, be sure to check your triggers. There is sex trafficking, revenge, organized crime, and kink. Lily is out there seeking retribution for those that can't help themselves. I definitely recommend this book!

This book was absolutely fan-freakin-tastic. Without giving any spoilers away, because book friend's you need to go in blind and fucking take the wild ride. This is a taboo/forbidden read due to it being an reverse age gap, involving best friend's mate's mom, and the trouble, secrets and dirty filthy thing's they get up to. Mercy was this book so good and triggers everywhere, so read those before going in. I definitely would recommend just check the triggers.

Asher has just get out of prison and needing a place to stay, so his bff offer him a place at their mother’s where he stay most of his childhood. But he too has some secrets. Lily and Asher has some incredible chemistry. But at first she fights her desires but he won’t give up on them. Things change quickly when Lily gives in but there is danger and twists in their way. Can both survive and find their HEA? Read to find out.

I loved this book! The taboo aspect of Lily and Asher’s age gap was sexy without being cringey. Lily definitely fights the attraction there and I love that she’s always looked out and taken care of Asher even when it was in a totally different light. Lily’s a bad B, not gonna lie. And Asher really compliments her personality. The two of them are pretty unstoppable. Steamy and fast paced taboo romance!

When I started the first book of the series, I was unsure what I was getting into. With this one, I was a little more prepared but still going in with bated breath, but I was left utterly breathless and emotional and hooked from the very first page.

Sarah JD’s books never disappoint. If you are looking for a spicy book with kinks galore…. Look no further. Asher just got out of prison and moves in with his best friends mom Lily. It doesn’t take long for either one to realize how attracted they are to one another. This book is forbidden romance, and it is filthy… and I loved every second. I love when books not only have the spice I want, but can also keep me on the edge of my seat with just the perfect amount of suspense. Definitely recommend!

Oh Lily! What a crazy ride through life she has! And Asher, so hot, spicy and totally besotted with her! But can they survive everything that is thrown at them? This story had me hooked from the start, as usual with this author! The whole story is so addictive! I love the relationship between Lily and Ash! This book is full of emotion and spice, dark and taboo but so good! Definitely a must read!

I could not put this dark and forbidden age gap romance down. Lily and Asher have a captivating story. It has some incredible moments from the drama, heat, angst and twists. I really loved this couple and their story and all the hot dirty steam between them. Highly recommend but definitely check the TW first.

Wow I’m blown away on this second book. Amazing charters and well tell story. The spicy is 5/5 this story will suck you right into this dark world of organized crime, a ruthless vigilante and lots of spicy forbidden heat! I recommend this book . Want more information well you have to read it to find out 😉

Omg this book was hot. Asher had been in love of his best friends mom for a while. He just got out of jail and it's mow time to show her what she means to him. Lily has secrets of her own and how can she tell her sons what she is doing with Asher? Well this book is so good you won't put it down.

I’ve never really gotten into reverse age gap before but with this story I couldn’t stop until I reached the end. Lily is amazing and I fell in love with her myself. Asher is a lad who knows how to go after what he wants until he finally gets it. I truly enjoyed reading this book.

This book had my eyeballs peeled wide open. So many secrets and not only that but to actually be with a kid you helped raise didn’t really shock me . Age is but a number and Asher and Lily were made for one another. They have so much in common even though Asher has his own secrets. There was so much blood in this thanks to the crimson angel. I was pleased to see Dante resurface in this book. I loved this book at the end of it all and I’m glad these two found their hea.

Once again, Sarah has blown me away with her writing. This book is dark, twisted, and all kinds of angsty…one of my 2023 favorites! Lily and Asher’s story is simply stunning with all the twists, turns, and unexpected secrets and truths that get revealed as the story goes. I absolutely LOVED this book and cannot wait to see what Sarah brings us next.

Ah! I loved this book so hard! Lily and Asher's story is one for the history books! What a rollercoaster ride of unexpected, dark twists and turns. Loved the cameos from Dante's Storm characters. Loved the whole story line! I can't wait for Camden, Connor and Avery's story!

Sarah JD’s books never disappoint. I will read anything she puts out at this point. Her books have never left me unsatisfied. Lily’s Ash is dark and twisted and kinky AF. This is the second story in the Scandalous Secrets series and dang was it everything you could hope for in a dark romance!!! Fast paced with non stop action, lots of kink and it is oh so deliciously dirty. This story will suck you right into the dark world of organized crime, with a ruthless vigilante and lots of spicy forbidden heat!!! When I read the blurb and trigger warnings for this series, I couldn't wait to read it and I was not disappointed.
Asher and Lily's story had me absolutely invested in them and I loved them!! When you add in a reverse age gap with a much younger, but oh so dirty man…that just so happens to be her twin sons best friend.
