Mar is the sound work of Miami artist Kristen Soller. A trove of gentle vocalizations long afloat on shipless oceans and mining watery depths. This simplistic approach of just layered voice and subtle synth strokes unlocks an emotional atmosphere, visceral in its sagacious fragility. Aquatic reconciliation for the soul and slow cinema for the ears.
