More than a reference book. It is filled with wonderful and interesting information, insights and exercises to do. I find that Ruthy's style of writing is easy for the beginner to understand and follow. This is definitely the way of the future , as science is just this last decade or so catching up to Moshe Feldenkrais' work on the brain and the neuromuscular connection.

I recommend Feldenkrais for EVERYONE ... it is not just for the elite athletes, musicians and those with a severe situations. It is affordable and simple to do with great results, sometimes in places you do not expect!

Great for everyday people to easily improve the simple, basic things of life you take for granted as a child! Like balance, flexibility, strength, relaxation. What every you do, you will do better after Feldenkrais.
